I find Dr. Beautyman to be a thoughtful, thorough Dr. I come with alist of questions to my annual check-up and we go down the list. She has always been informative and patient.

She is a straightforward person, and I think a fairly private person so she does not engage in chatty conversation, but we do talk about things other than my health.

I think today's Drs are pushed by very poor fees which lead them to book their time carefully. My belief is that if you explain what you will be coming for, she makes adequate time. She also refers me to sepcialists when she thinks they would be helpful.

I completely trust her competence and thoroughness.

Other are concerned that she does not make eye contact in the outer office. I think she is just very focused on her ciles and on the problem/work at head.

I would recommend her to anyone as a very skilled and concerned Dr.

I've been seeing Dr. Beautyman for my cancer for a few years and I find her knowledgeable, thorough, and up-beat - which is important to me. She can seem abrupt, but I write that off to her being industrious and having a lot on her plate; but she's always willing to listen. And if you give her a chance, she has a good sense of humor.

I would recommend her to anyone.

PS The office staff is also very nice.

I have been going to Dr. Beautyman for years. I would not willingly switch GPs. She has been through and competent. She is sometimes preoccupied, because she is very busy. Not overly friendly, but I have not experienced coldness, more a realization that time is precious for her.

She diagnosed a friend of mine that had a very serious illness. To get care, the friend had to go to a specialist in the hospital. Dr. Beautyman came to the hospital on her time off  (in fact, in her 'going out' clothes, obviously, she had a formal evening planned) and waited until she was sure my friend would get the specialist she needed. This is not an uncaring doctor.

Some of the staff are friendly and efficient, some less so. It varies over the years but I get the appointments I need.
