I was recomended by Dr. Ripu Aurora. a pain managment specialist , after he had done 3 procedures on my back, the last of which was burnint the nerves in my facet joints. The only pain meds he gave me was soma. He said because I told him I was bipolar,although I am on the Deans list with a 4.0, that he would send me to someone to talk to. I take no meds. It took a month a a half to make this appointment. So I looked her up oon the internet and found out the she was a real piece of work..Howard University Grad...big deal..so is my best friend and the wife of a prominent physician of a Healthcare Hmo in orange County raking on 80mil. Another close friend has a GI practice in Lynwood on staff at St Franc.and his father who was my first psychiatrist when I was twelve went to Howard and Meharry.. so she was small time.Patients said she was rude, poor bedside manner, cold, spent more time talking about herself, making you feel small, not aswering questions.Seeing patients every 15 mintues..Now my medicare bill says that whether they see you for 5 minuted or 1 hour it is 700.00..She has an office in Torrance, Long Beach, Inglewood, Lax.. and only has patient priviledges to admit at Metropolitan Hospital in Norwalk(snakepit0 when they don;t know what to do with you, award of the state kind of thing. Knowing all this, I called and asked the receptionist if it was true, she said no, I said I was taking into account that these reviews were written by mental patients, anxious people, troubled..She reassured me.. Okay. I paid someone 40 dollar to pick me up from school, they live in Carson, take me to Torrance, for my 445 appointment. Keep in mind that I had called the receptionist at 330pm and asked her for landmarks. to which she replied TGI fridays..she said come a few minutes early for a 'little paper work' we got there at 437 was handed the paper work and proceded to fill it out, you had to park in front of tgi fridays walk arcoss a watsteful pond that took 6 minutes and take the elevator up to the 3 floor! I was still filling out the last page of my paper work and had listed my first medication Coreg, it was 445. my appointment time when the door opened and her patient before me came out...448..she walked back into her office and closed the door...He rotund receptionist was summoned and they closed the door and the the rotunda came over to me and said' since you were a few minutes late, Dr. Bacchus would like to know if she could reschedule you in two weeks because she has an hour appointment from 5-6! I said you must be kidding hell no! Miss rotunda went back in the office and came out with Dr. Soroya Bachus,tall thin armenian, looking like a bright skin black woman with good hair, and probably played the part with the females at Howard and stole all the brothers! She repeated what Lil Debbie said..I repeated again I said no. She looked at me and said..I can't help you then, and walked away into her office and closed the door. I told snoball, here is the dam printout, you lied. give me my photocopies, and you better not bill me for crap..she turned her michelin back to me and I said don't you turn your back to me when I am taking to you! When you give someone a 445 apointment. don't tell then a few minutes, tell them a half hour...technically 5 oclock appt should have been bumped since her 4 was still in there on my time! And what was she going to know about me a first time consultation 15 minutes! I have filed a formal complaint with the help of my friends that are physicians. She is cold, and looking in her eyes is like a shark..she is in it for the money... |
