In 2005, my family doctor recommended me to see a OBGYN after a 'well woman exam' that unveiled some symptom. I went to see Dr. Gersh. I explained to her and she performed a general exam. Then she claimed to my insurance company with 'well woman exam', which was not the purpose that I went to see her. I called and wrote to her asking her to correct the claim. She refused simply because I was a 'new patient', and insisted that I should pay for it. Her office's policy is new patient always has to go through a 'well woman exam' no matter if she asks or not. Both insurance and I refused to pay for it. Then she ruined my credit. |
