Doctor Kenneth Stallman definitely saved my kidney and possbly my life and he was not even my doctor at the time!  I was admitted to the Methodist Specialty and Treatment Hospital after being transferred from the main Methodist Hospital Emergency room a few blocks away.  I went into the emergency room for a urinary infection and they took a cat scan of my abdomen and I was told everything was fine and the cat scan was normal. After being transferred to the other hospital the next day Dr Stallman who was on call for the same floor of the hospital that I was admitted to came by to ask me if I had any images taken of my stomach.  When I told him that the main hospital did a cat scan he then asked me if it was alright for him to look at them himself.  He immediately called the main hospital and had them send him the images via the internet to his laptop computer.  He immediately saw something wrong with my kidney and told me he was going to meet with some of his doctors in his urology group to look over the images also. That night he called me from his cell phone and told me that I probably had kidney cancer but he had caught it really early on.  He also told me he was scheduling me for an MRI the next day while I was in the hospital still.  That MRI confirmed the kidney cancer and it was only approximately 2cm in size so he was able to freeze the cancer during a laproscopic surgery that was much less invasive and it was a complete success thank GOD for Dr Kenneth Stallman.  The main thing to remember about this whole story is that he was not even my Doctor when he came into see me in the hospital room! I will never be able to thank him enough for what he has done for me!
