 2008 Normally, you would fully trust your doctor to pay attention to details and administer proper screening tests. After going to this doctor for many many years, he never bothered to screen me for prostate cancer, even after I specifically requested to be tested. His answer was that I did not show any other symptoms that signaled that I need the prostate test.  I found out this year, that I have prostate cancer.  My whole world is about to change, because of 1 doctor that refused to screen me for a very common type of cancer for my age.
